EASL 091E Theatre

Selkirk International

EASL 091E Theatre is an interactive communicative seminar for students who are interested in improving their English while working with other students in role plays, theatre games, and performances. This seminar helps students to improve pronunciation and non-verbal communication skills and gain confidence working in a team and speaking in public.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  1. improve vocal skills (tone, pronunciation, intonation, projection) through exercises, skits, roleplay and performances.
  2. gain confidence in presentation skills by performing.
  3. improve planning and organizational skills.
  4. develop trust, cooperation and a positive attitude by working closely with a group on a successful performance.
  5. effectively utilize body language.
