TSOL 112 Grammar for Teachers

Selkirk International

TSOL 112 Grammar for Teachers is an introduction to the fundamental structures of grammar as well as to the different approaches and techniques for grammar instruction in a second language context. This course will create a bridge between being a speaker of English and being a teacher of the language.

Corequisite: Full time enrolment in the Selkirk College TESOL Program

  2. Identify and explain complex grammar structures in a teaching setting
  3. Design and deliver effective grammar lessons/segments
  4. Adapt and adopt appropriate materials for grammar instruction
  5. Demonstrate understanding of different methodologies and approaches to grammar teaching
