MUSC 151 Private Lesson II. A weekly one-hour private instrumental or vocal lesson is provided for all first year students. Instruction is available on keyboard, woodwinds, saxophone, percussion, guitar, electric and acoustic, bass, and voice. Lessons are designed to increase students technical and musical abilities.
Prerequisites: MUSC 150 with a minimum grade of 70%

Teaching and Learning Approach
Private lessons are taught one-to-one. Generally, private lessons will address progress and development of the
course curriculum. Each week a student should be prepared to demonstrate assigned exercises and material.
The course is taught using audio, video and in-class demonstrations. Students will be given practical exams to
