Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Operate and maintain additive manufacturing machines using standard procedures
- Describe various methods and applications of additive manufacturing
- Calculate operating, design, and fabrication costs
- Apply post processing to 3D printed parts
Teaching and Learning Approach
A combination of theory-based lecture and context-based demonstration, with regular opportunity for hands-on
participation. Topics will provide students with sufficient knowledge to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot FDM
and SLA machines. Authentic assessment techniques are used throughout the course for evaluation.Learning Resources
Learning resources will be shared on Moodle.Assessment
