The support and guidance of the on-site supervisor is critical to the process by providing structured and specific on-site feedback. The College instructor along with the student and on-site supervisor will meet to discuss the students’ progress and learning goals at the mid-point and final. Students have one day in the middle of the practicum and at the end of practicum in class with college instructors and other students to support the integration of theory from the certificate course content with work experience.
