Government Assistance Programs

Government Assistance Programs

There is help with the cost of post-secondary education through student loans, grants and other government assistance programs. Grant eligibility will be determined based on your student loan application. The Financial Aid office is available to answer questions and provide guidance on the student loan application process.

  • What is a student loan? A loan is money awarded to a student for educational expenses, and it must be repaid.
  • What is a grant? A grant is money given to a student for educational expenses, which does not need to be repaid.

You can find more information on applying for government student loans and grants here.
