College Calendar Changes and Alterations

As of the 2024/2025 calendar year, Selkirk College formally publishes the Academic Calendar May 1st (or following business day) yearly with any emergency addendums published December 1st for the following winter term beginning in January. Addendums for the 2024/2025 calendar year will be published December 1st, 2024, and listed below.

The following items were updated for the 2024/2025 term:

1. Two updated ECCE Courses:
a. ECCE 195 Practicum I
b. ECCE 294 Practicum II

2. Six updated MSK Courses:
a. MSK 01 Fundamental Math – Level 1
b. MSK 02 Fundamental Math – Level 2
c. MSK 03 Fundamental Math – Level 3
d. MSK 04 Fundamental Math – Level 4
e. MSK 05 Fundamental Math – Level 5
f. MSK 06 Fundamental Math – Level 6

3. Seven updated Programs
a. Health Care Assistant – Certificate
b. Health Care Assistant – Diploma
c. Practical Nursing
d. Pharmacy Technician
e. Geographic Information Systems – Bachelor’s Degree
f. Geographic Information Systems – Advanced Diploma
g. Geomatics in the Workplace

Programs that have Co-operative Education options had standard language added to the program graduation and promotion requirements section.
