TWC 165 Business Communications II focuses on developing oral presentation skills by practice and application. Students will develop these skills by planning and delivering speeches, pitches, interviews, and informative reports created through a rigorous research and pre-writing process.

Prerequisites: ENGL 110 or TWC 164 with a minimum grade of 60%

Teaching and Learning Approach

This course is structured around collaborative and experiential campus research, as well as presentations. You will be required to communicate, respond, and work with stakeholders and partners in order to meet your course outcomes. As a result, your participation, attendance, and engagement in this course and its materials will be critical to your success. Class time will be used for group work, writing (peer feedback and revision) and short lectures.
