AESP 277 Environmental Planning Field Applications provides students with hands-on experience applying environmental planning concepts in field settings. Learners explore foundational values and approaches in municipal and regional planning while developing practical field skills essential to the profession. Field activities include rural vehicle and water travel safety, spatial and environmental data-collection techniques, site-assessment methods, and collaborative decision-making in outdoor environments. This course prepares students to effectively plan and execute environmental field work, integrating technical skills and environmental planning methods for professional applications. This is an intensive course offered in a one-week time block at the end of April.

Prerequisites: ENVR 160, 163 and 170

AAV ABOVE AVERAGE -The student has mastered all or most course objectives/requirements in a minimum time frame and has exemplified good work and study habits.
COM COMPLETE – denotes that the student has mastered a satisfactory number of course objectives/requirements in a non-credit course
CRG CREDIT GRANTED - denotes that the student performance was satisfactory in a credit course.
NCG NO CREDIT GRANTED - denotes that the student performance was unsatisfactory.
PCG PARTIAL CREDIT GRANTED – denotes that the student has successfully completed a portion of the course objectives in a credit course.
