College Calendar Changes and Alterations

As of the 2025/2026 calendar year, Selkirk College formally publishes the Academic Calendar May 1st (or following business day) yearly with any emergency addendums published December 1st for the following winter term beginning in January. Addendums for the 2025/2026 calendar year will be published December 1st, 2025, and listed below.

The following programs have had updates to the admission requirements language:

a. Child & Youth Care Specialty – Human Services Diploma
b. Early Childhood Care and Education (Inclusive Practice) – Human Services Diploma
c. Early Childhood Care and Education (Infant and Toddler) – Human Services Diploma
d. Social Service Worker – Human Services Diploma
e. Social Service Worker – Certificate
f. Health Care Assistant – Certificate
g. Health Care Assistant - Diploma

Mental Health and Substance Use was removed from this calendar as the program is not accepting applications for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Early Learning and Childcare had Term 3 updated to include a note that if you took the courses in advance then this term would be a regularly scheduled break.

School of Hospitality and Tourism - information included about a new program coming soon.
