College Calendar Changes and Alterations

As of the 2023/2024 calendar year, Selkirk College formally publishes the Academic Calendar May 1st (or following business day) yearly with any emergency addendums published December 1st for the following winter term beginning in January. Addendums for the 2023/2024 calendar year will be published December 1st, 2023, and listed below.

Hairstylist - Apprenticeship Level 2 - length of program updated.

Business Administration Advanced Diploma - updated to include both streams, Professional Management and Accounting Finance

Courses added or updated:

CPSC 60 Computer Science – Provincial Level > new course in the Academic Upgrading and Development program. Added to the provincial level course of studies table.

ECCE 179 Professional Practice II > Title changed, course description updated, and learning outcomes updated.

GEOG 232 Geomorphology > Course description updated, and learning outcomes updated.

NSLX 102 Beginners n̓səl̓xčin̓ 2 > new course

NSYL 101 Beginners n̓səl̓xčin̓ 1 > this course had the course code updated to NSLX, the title was updated, and the description was updated.

Courses by Discipline table was updated with the correct Indigenous Language courses.
