Overview
Program Summary
For over 20 years, Selkirk College’s Digital Arts program has supported students wanting to excel in an industry demanding exceptional work ethic and creative excellence. Our graduates become creative directors, graphic designers, filmmakers, animators and motion graphic artists. With an emphasis on visual communications, students spend their classroom and studio time designing for all platforms, from print to interactive media and everything in between. Graduates of the Digital Arts program are job-ready and adaptable to growing needs of industry.
Program Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- explain the foundational concepts of digital arts.
- use current industry tools and technology to produce content.
- communicate effectively and efficiently in various formats to a variety of stakeholders, consistent with industry expectations.

Program Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
In addition to meeting the general admission requirements to Selkirk College, applicants to the Digital Arts program you must meet the following requirements to be considered fully-qualified:
- English 12 with a grade of 60% or higher.

In order to receive your credential in your program you must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.00.
