PEAC100 Introduction to Peace Studies I

PEAC 100: Introduction to Peace Studies I offers an introduction to the foundational concepts of peace studies: peace, conflict and violence. This course offers a critical analysis of war, terrorism, pacifism and nonviolent action. Students will examine topics such as human rights, international development, media, and religion in order to gain a deeper understanding and critical analysis through the lens of nonviolence with the goal of building cultures of peace.
